1. Giới thiệu

LocalStorage Porter là tiện ích Chrome giúp người dùng xem, tìm kiếm, tạo mới, chỉnh sửa, xuất và nhập Local Storage của các website. Chính sách này giải thích cách tiện ích xử lý dữ liệu khi bạn sử dụng các chức năng đó.

2. Dữ liệu được truy cập

Khi người dùng chủ động sử dụng tiện ích, LocalStorage Porter có thể truy cập:

  • Địa chỉ URL và origin của tab hoặc các tab đang mở để xác định website cần thao tác.
  • Các key và value trong Local Storage của website đã được chọn hoặc cấp quyền.
  • Nội dung JSON do người dùng dán vào để nhập dữ liệu.
  • Nội dung JSON được người dùng chủ động xuất vào clipboard hoặc tải thành tệp.

Lưu ý: Local Storage của website có thể chứa thông tin nhận dạng, dữ liệu cá nhân hoặc token xác thực. Tiện ích xử lý các nội dung đó theo lựa chọn của người dùng mà không chủ động phân loại hoặc lọc nội dung nhạy cảm.

3. Mục đích xử lý

Dữ liệu chỉ được sử dụng cho các thao tác quản lý Local Storage mà người dùng yêu cầu: xem và tìm kiếm key, tạo và chỉnh sửa value, tự động lưu thay đổi vào website, sao chép hoặc tải bản sao lưu JSON, và khôi phục dữ liệu từ JSON. Chế độ nhiều website sử dụng thông tin các tab đang mở để xác định những origin có thể truy cập.

4. Thu thập, truyền và chia sẻ

Phiên bản này xử lý dữ liệu trực tiếp trên thiết bị của người dùng. Tiện ích không có máy chủ tiếp nhận dữ liệu, không chủ động gửi nội dung Local Storage đến nhà phát triển, không tích hợp quảng cáo, công cụ phân tích hành vi hoặc dịch vụ theo dõi. Nhà phát triển không bán hay chia sẻ dữ liệu Local Storage của người dùng với bên thứ ba.

Chỉ khi người dùng chọn Export hoặc lưu tệp thì dữ liệu mới được sao chép vào clipboard hoặc lưu tại vị trí do người dùng chọn. Nội dung dán vào để Import được xử lý trên trình duyệt và ghi vào Local Storage của website mục tiêu.

5. Quyền truy cập trình duyệt

Tiện ích sử dụng quyền truy cập tab hiện tại, thực thi mã đọc/ghi Local Storage trên website được chọn, tìm các tab đang mở và sao chép JSON vào clipboard khi người dùng nhấn lệnh tương ứng. Quyền truy cập nhiều website được yêu cầu riêng khi người dùng chủ động sử dụng chế độ nhiều domain.

6. Lưu giữ, bảo mật và kiểm soát dữ liệu

Tiện ích không duy trì kho lưu trữ riêng của nhà phát triển cho dữ liệu Local Storage. Những thay đổi được ghi vào Local Storage của website; tệp JSON đã xuất được người dùng tự quản lý. Dữ liệu trong clipboard hoặc tệp xuất có thể chứa thông tin nhạy cảm: không chia sẻ chúng với người không tin cậy.

Người dùng có thể xóa dữ liệu Local Storage thông qua công cụ của trình duyệt, xóa các tệp JSON đã lưu, thu hồi quyền truy cập website hoặc gỡ cài đặt tiện ích trong Chrome.

7. Giới hạn

Chế độ nhiều domain chỉ truy cập các website HTTP/HTTPS đang mở và có quyền phù hợp. Tiện ích không sao lưu Cookies, Session Storage hoặc IndexedDB. Nhập Local Storage không bảo đảm khôi phục đăng nhập do website có thể yêu cầu xác thực riêng.

8. Cập nhật và liên hệ

1. About this extension

LocalStorage Porter is a Chrome extension for viewing, searching, adding, editing, exporting, and importing website Local Storage. This policy describes how the extension handles data when you choose to use these features.

2. Data accessed

When used, the extension may access the URLs and origins of open tabs, Local Storage keys and values on selected or authorized websites, JSON pasted for import, and JSON explicitly exported to the clipboard or a file. Website Local Storage may contain personal identifiers, sensitive information, or authentication tokens. The extension does not automatically classify or filter these values.

3. Why data is processed

Data is processed only to provide the requested Local Storage operations: listing and searching keys, adding and editing values, saving changes to the selected website, exporting JSON, and importing JSON. The multi-site option uses open-tab information to identify accessible website origins.

4. Collection, transmission, and sharing

The extension processes data locally on the user's device. It does not operate a developer-controlled data collection server, transmit Local Storage contents to the developer, include advertising or analytics trackers, or sell or share Local Storage contents with third parties. Clipboard copying and file downloads occur only when initiated by the user. Imported JSON is processed in the browser and written to the target website's Local Storage.

5. Browser permissions

The extension uses permissions to access the active tab, execute Local Storage read/write operations on selected websites, identify open tabs, and copy JSON to the clipboard when requested. Permission to access multiple website origins is requested separately when the user chooses multi-site features.

6. Retention, security, and user control

The developer does not maintain a separate database of exported Local Storage contents. Changes are saved to the website's Local Storage; exported files are controlled by the user. Clipboard data and backups may contain sensitive tokens. Users can clear website storage, delete their backup files, revoke website access, or uninstall the extension using Chrome settings.

7. Limitations

Multi-site mode supports open HTTP/HTTPS tabs for which access has been granted. The extension does not back up Cookies, Session Storage, or IndexedDB. Importing Local Storage does not guarantee restoration of a website login session.
